A clear commitment.
Self-pay lets Dr. Dixit give your care the time it needs. You know your fee before you book, and receive a superbill you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
A seat at the table.
A new patient consultation at 19 East 80th Street on the Upper East Side. Office hours Thursdays 9–5; Wednesday or Friday by request.
Expertise at your door.
A full in-home consultation with exam and point-of-care testing, on the Upper East Side and nearby. Labs can be added.
From your own space.
A new patient telehealth consultation, wherever you are in New York or New Jersey.
Follow-up visits: $500 / 45 minutes, in office or by video. Payment is taken at booking. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged 50% of the fee; missed appointments, the full fee.
Labs, imaging and medications are billed separately through your insurance. HSA/FSA cards are welcome. Full fees & payment terms ↗

How long is a first visit?+
New patient visits are 60 minutes and follow-ups are 45 minutes, so we can review your full history, labs and goals.
Where will my appointment take place?+
In-office visits are held Thursdays, 9 to 5, at 19 East 80th Street, Unit 1E, New York, NY 10075. Self-pay patients may also request Wednesday or Friday, subject to availability. Home visits are scheduled by arrangement.
What should I bring?+
Your medication and supplement list, recent labs, imaging reports, and any device data (CGM or pump). You will complete a short secure intake after booking.
How do payment and cancellations work?+
Payment is taken when you book. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged 50% of the visit fee; missed appointments without notice, the full fee.
Do you prescribe GLP-1 medications?+
When medically appropriate, yes, as part of a full medical weight management plan with close follow-up. Dr. Dixit prescribes only FDA-approved GLP-1 medications, never compounded versions.
